ACC Liverpool, home to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, has announced the return of the Museums Association for its annual conference and exhibition, set to be the biggest of its kind in Europe.

The leading conference for association, society and institute executives has announced the move of its annual summer Association Congress 2012 to ACC Liverpool in 2012, after 5 consecutive years in London.

The Liverpool venue recorded a turnover of £14.5m compared to just over £13m for the previous 12 month period, for figures based on audited accounts for the year ended 31 March 2011.

ACC Liverpool, home to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, will promote destination Liverpool under the "It's Liverpool" brand to over 3000 European global meetings and events buyers this week at industry event, EIBTM. The team will introduce a host of new sales and marketing initiatives along with a development update on the venue's expansion plans.
