ACC Liverpool proves that "it's good to follow the crowd"
14 May 10Corporate clients and venues head to North West benchmark of event professionalism
The strapline on ACC Liverpool's new brochure 'Sometimes it’s good to follow the crowd' is having strong resonance as both corporates and venues make for the city's bastion of live events, ACC Liverpool.
Taking place this weekend many of the UK's FTSE 100 corporations will head to the city for the Corporate Games. Echo Arena, part of ACC Liverpool, is to act as the central hub for activity and will host over 3000 delegates for the Games' celebration parade, party and closing awards ceremony.
Since opening, ACC Liverpool - home to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena - has positioned itself as one of the most progressive live event spaces in the world. Testament to this is the fact that BT Convention Centre Liverpool is about to host the AIPC congress in July 2010. The prestigious congress will draw together representatives from other equally significant worldwide conference centres all of whom have a significant economic impact on their respective regions too.
Jacquie Rogers, general manager BT Convention Centre Liverpool commented, "ACC Liverpool has rapidly been put onto the map as a leading global conference and events destination. It is a major achievement for us to host AIPC and show our facilities off to our industry peers. Equally it is a huge opportunity for ACC Liverpool and the city to attract over 3000 key corporate decision makers for the weekend. A recent industry poll voted Liverpool as the 2nd best city to host an event outside of London clearly positioning ACC Liverpool, and the city, as a leading destination to conduct business in."
