Charity Champions

Fundraising initiatives are managed by the in-house 'Charity Champions' who meet regularly to plan forthcoming fundraising activity.  The Charity Champions have led on the companys successful fundraising strategy for Liverpool Unites for Alder Hey Appeal and in December 2011 co-ordinated a staff vote for a nominated national charity.

Our charity support allows us as a company to engage with young people and other local community groups, using our venue for maximum impact. To date we have raised just over £10,000 through employee-led fundraising activities.

Liverpool Unites for Alder Hey Appeal
Liverpool Unites, the official charity of the Liverpool Post and ECHO, has a fundraising target of £500,000 for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. All money raised will be used to build the play areas in the New Children’s Health Park which is due to be completed in 2014.

Cancer Research UK
Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. The charity has saved millions of lives with groundbreaking work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. People’s chances of surviving cancer have doubled in the last 40 years, but more than one in three of us will still get cancer at some point. This vital work, funded entirely by the public, will help ensure that millions more people survive.
