Our Caterers

ACC Liverpool provides a different flavour; our remit extends beyond the jobs and facilities we provide locally to the impact our business has on the area we live and work in. And we expect our suppliers and support team to demonstrate their commitment to green thinking, the local region and ethical policies too.

Heathcotes made its reputation with its first restaurant, in Longridge – just outside Preston – which opened in 1990. The company now has a string of restaurants across the Northwest, forging a strong commitment to the region and providing food not just for ACC Liverpool, but also for Chester Races, Warrington Wolves RFC and Preston North End FC.

Heathcotes has always had a good reputation for sourcing tasty, organic local produce – in fact, it was one of the first major catering companies in the Northwest to create menus using local and regional produce. Free range corn-fed Goosnargh duck, chicken from Reg Johnson and Morecambe Bay potted shrimps are just some of the local delights that can be found on menus at ACC Liverpool.

As the business has developed, it’s become known for its green credentials; Heathcotes minimises waste produced through the business and is always looking for innovative new ways of recycling; it chooses environmentally friendly materials and equipment, which have been produced as efficiently as possible and cause minimum impact on the environment when disposed of. It’s currently making sure that all its menus at ACC Liverpool are printed on 100% recycled paper. The number of lorry deliveries carrying food has been reduced, and packaging is kept to a minimum – bearing in mind food hygiene requirements – with suppliers encouraged to use biodegradable or recyclable materials.
