Security

Security staff and stewards at the BT Convention Centre are provided by our service partner CES. Each member of the team is experienced and on hand to answer all of your questions, making sure that your time at the BT Convention Centre goes as smoothly as possible.

Security at the ACC Liverpool site is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to ensure the safety of all people in the building. We have extensive CCTV facilities throughout the building and on the piazza outside and the control room is manned 24 hours a day, with ongoing foot patrols around the site.

Stewarding provides two functions at the BT Convention Centre. Their first role is a health and safety function, so that if the building needs to be cleared for any reason, our stewards will manage the evacuation and lead all visitors to safety.

They are also our front of house representatives, helping with delegate movement through the conference and exhibition spaces throughout the day. If you’re not sure about anything once you get to the BT Convention Centre please ask one of our stewards – they’re only too happy to help.
