The BT Convention Centre a unique setting for conferences, meetings and training days due to the flexibility of our spaces. While we have hosted some of the biggest international conferences, our spaces can also accommodate anything from ten to over 2000 guests – it’s up to you to choose which spaces you want to use and what you want to use them for.

1350 people can comfortably be seated in our impressive auditorium, with two unique, revolving drums which can divide the space into up to three separate, self-contained spaces of 250 (x2) and 850 seats.
The auditorium also includes seven backstage rooms for speakers’ use, including toilet and shower facilities and meeting room-style spaces.

Underneath the auditorium, our Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH) provides you with a vast, pillar-free, multi-functional, sub-divisible space. Seat 1800 people for dinner here, just under 3,000 theatre-style, 1,260 cabaret-style or 1,580 in a classroom format...

Hall two is huge, with a floor space of 3,725 m2 and daylight streaming in from the river Mersey and ACC Liverpool piazza to add to the sense of space. If you’d prefer a more intimate space, Hall Two can be divided into halves, quarters or eighths. It is also the perfect setting for meals as it is located directly next to the central processing unit for our food, giving you a seamless transition from kitchen to the table; loading bays on this level also mean you can deliver straight into the heart of your event. The central processing unit is also supported by sub-kitchens on level three.

If you need a little extra room or functionality for your conference, you can make use of our 18 breakout rooms, each containing top-of-the-range technology, with capacities ranging from ten to 500 people. Each is equipped with the latest telecommunications and data network, cabling infrastructure, wireless LAN, digital audio visual facilities and acoustic panels on the walls for excellent sound clarity.

The breakout rooms are ideal extra spaces during conferences, but their flexibility and technical spec make them ideal for a range of functions including board meetings, company away days and planning sessions.
